Welcome to 6 Strings Guitar School!

Hi, I’m Cesar de Rurange, the founder of 6 Strings Guitar School, established in 2010. I’m a passionate guitarist, instructor, and dad of three, based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. My studio in Mona Vale is a friendly, creative space where players of all ages and skill levels are welcome – from absolute beginners picking up a guitar for the first time to experienced musicians wanting to refine their craft.

At 6 Strings, I tailor every lesson to your goals and musical taste, covering acoustic, electric, bass, and ukulele across a range of styles — from rock and blues to classical, pop, and fingerstyle. My approach focuses on building solid technique, confidence, and musicality while keeping learning fun and inspiring.

When I’m not teaching or jamming with students, you’ll find me performing at events and venues around Sydney, either with my acoustic duo or the various bands I’m lucky enough to play with. Sharing music — whether it’s on stage or in the lesson room — is what drives me every day.
