Good to know

What you'll need for lessons

  • Your instrument — guitar, bass or ukulele (advice on choosing one is free, just ask)
  • A folder for lesson handouts and practice notes
  • Picks, spare strings, and a lead if you play electric
  • 15–30 minutes of practice, 3–4 times a week
  • Lots of questions!
Parents are always welcome to sit in on younger children's lessons — it's a great way to support practice at home.
